Let’s Talk About
Turquoise
Did you know there are more than 30 different types of turquoise!?
Turquoise gets its distinct bluish greenish color primarily from the various metals found in the soil where it forms. Specifically, blue turquoise is the result of a higher concentration of copper, while green turquoise is created when iron is more abundant in the mineral composition. This fascinating relationship between the minerals and their colors adds to the allure and uniqueness of each turquoise stone.
